Kripalu trained and certified at the Professional level, Sue is known for her safe, compassionate teaching style and welcoming spirit. Committed to bringing year-round yoga instruction to her small Block Island community, where her classes swell with summer visitors, she has taught for 11 years. Sue has initiated hundreds into the transformative experience of yoga by creating an atmosphere of acceptance and inviting students to begin their practice with non-judgement, loving-kindness and gratitude toward their bodies. Sue has a MA in holistic counseling and training by the Hakomi and Relational Life Institutes. She incorporates yoga and body-mind psychotherapy into her private counseling practice. She has made Block Island, RI her home, with her husband Chris and two children, for 25 years.
